Yasmine Levi-Ellentuck

Soprano

From Israel, Yasmine Levi-Ellentuck attended International Vocal Arts Institute in Tel Aviv after graduated from Jerusalem Music Academy. Later on, she studied at the Brooklyn Music Academy in New York with Patricia McCaffrey and graduated with a Master Degree.

 

Yasmine has won the 3rd Prize of Elizabeth Connell Prize 2016 and New South Wales Wagner Society award while on the other hand, received an award from the Metropolitan Opera National Council Competition, The Gerda-Lissner Foundation, The Giulio Gari Foundation and the Licia Albanese-Puccini Foundation.

 

As a soprano, her career was highlighted by the performances such as Leonora in Fidelio at Berlin Hauen und Stechen, Cio-Cio San in Madama Butterfly at Jerusalem Opera, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte at Williamsburg Opera, La Contessa in Le Nozze di Figaro at Jerusalem Opera and New York, Amelia in Un ballo in maschera at Jerusalem Symphony, Leonora in Il Trovatore at Williamsburg Opera, Ariadne in Ariadne auf Naxos at Tel Aviv, Elettra in Idomeneo in Tel Aviv, Giorgetta in Il Tabarro in New York.

 

Among her love for opera repertoire, she is also an experienced concert performer, singing pieces such as Strauss’ Four Last Songs, Britten’s War Requiem, Berg’s Seven Early Songs and more.
